Planes are fast. Boats are slow, but they go everywhere, and that turned out to be the more interesting trade.
Boats are sold only at Port Solano, by Nico on the quay: a small skiff (which you can also rent for a trip), a fast runabout and a workboat that carries a pallet. You can only get out at a jetty, and police boats patrol the water between Eastreach and Port Solano. On the small islands there are no police at all.
Three small islands got their own people: Pelican Key, cheap and quiet with only a few buyers; Las Tres, where business happens at night; and Isla Corona, a rich island where each customer buys one piece at a time and pays the best prices. Isla Corona is only 180 metres across, so its private airstrip sits on a causeway off the coast.
And on Port Solano's hill there is now Villa Mirador, the most expensive home in the game: a big modern villa on a plot cut into the hillside, with stairs down to a private beach, its own jetty, and a pool you can actually wade into.
Every island got relief and buildings of its own, and the map now shows Eastreach and the whole south on one sheet.
